Welcome to The Hockaday Writing Center! 

The Writing Center offers consulting in all areas of academic writing. Offering a supportive environment, the Writing Center will help students gain confidence in their writing by facilitating the development of clear thinking and insightful, persuasive writing.

To make your first appointment, please register for an account by clicking the link to the left. You will only have to register the first time that you make an appointment.

You may also make Writing Center appointments for purposes of learning from past writing assignments, understanding rubrics, or exploring other Writing Center resources to address your questions about general writing processes.

The Writing Center is located in Room 250 (2nd floor of the Upper School building).
